The Education & Training Group (ETG) of Renaissance Services SAOG comprises of two companies dedicated to excellence in training and education. The Education & Training Group (ETG) is the private sector market leader in provision of Vocational Training services in the Sultanate of Oman. ETG training products and services include the provision of high quality training in HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), Driving and Road Safety, Languages, Information Technology, Management, Financial Studies, Customer Service, Hospitality, Travel, Tourism and a wide range of industrial and technical vocational training courses.

ETG comprises of two major training providers and divisions there in. The flagship company is National Training Institute LLC (NTI). The purpose-built training center at Madinat Al Sultan Qaboos (MQ) houses networked classrooms for all its training services. The NTI-owned New Horizons Computer Learning Centers' franchise is also housed at MQ. NTI's HSE Training services are provided in Ghala and interior-based centers in Fahud and Nimr. NTI's Technical Training facilities are in Ghala.

Renaissance is a founder of National Hospitality Institute SAOG (NHI). The company holds shares in NHI and ETG provides management services to NHI on a fee basis. In addition to private individuals, the major client base includes the oil and gas, engineering and construction industries, banks, hotels, manufacturers, retailers and many more.

In Oman, Omanis are to be found at work in every type of job and at every level of employment. However, a majority of the working population is still expatriate. It is a national economic imperative that more Omanis are trained and developed to take over these jobs from expatriates. This process is known in Oman as 'Omanisation'. ETG has developed a clearly defined competence to develop local workforces efficiently and effectively to the benefit of the individual, the employer, and the government authorities concerned. This includes the ability to help unemployed school-leavers and other Omanis find the right vocation and employment.
